Pekingese ("Pekingese.co", "we", "us", or "our") operates a subscription web platform designed for independent Canadian dog groomers and pet salons. We are committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personal and business information pursuant to the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

3. Collection of Information

We collect only the minimum necessary information to operate your grooming appointment book:

• Groomer Account Data: Email address, business name, province of operation, tax registration numbers (GST/HST/QST), deposit rules, and Interac payment instructions.
• Client & Pet Records: Client names, phone numbers, email addresses, pet breed, coat type, notes, and rabies vaccine expiry dates as inputted by the groomer.
• Subscription Data: Gumroad transaction identifiers and subscription entitlement status. We do not store or process credit cards directly.

4. No Runtime Tracking & No Third-Party Analytics Cookies

We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, or third-party cookies. Any traffic telemetry utilizes privacy-preserving Cloudflare Web Analytics which does not collect client IP addresses or personal identifiers, obviating the need for invasive cookie banners.

5. Data Export & Right to Deletion (Law 25 & PIPEDA)

Every groomer maintains full ownership of their data. Within the user panel settings, groomers may at any time:

• Export my data: Download an immediate, complete JSON and CSV export of all clients, pet profiles, appointments, and tax receipts.
• Delete my account: Irrevocably purge all business records, appointments, clients, and session tokens from Canadian sovereign storage within 30 days.

6. Data Storage & Hosting

Data is stored and encrypted within Cloudflare's serverless infrastructure (D1 SQLite database) with strict multi-tenant isolation, ensuring no cross-business data access is possible.
